Loved working with Woody at L33. Awesome guy to be around and work with. His Canada Day and other events he put together were top notch. He made a world of a difference to everyone he was around. Will be missed

This is the Albert Woodfine I knew and remember (Right) in Cornwallis...we were in Germany together and he always had a guitar nearby, if not in hand...These were taken in Goderich Ont. summer 1975...Rest in peace my friend...!

It is a sad day to lose a good friend. Our prayers are with Al and his family and friends. Al and I served in 4 Svc Bn, V & R Pl. When we deployed on and tasking or exercise, Al's first piece kit that was loaded in his vehicle, was his musical instruments and then kit. Al was always entertaining the troops in the field or unit activities. He was first to volunteer in any events, such as RCEME day or Curling. There is not enough room to tell all Al adventures in Germany and the joy of he shared with everyone. Rest in peace Al, you will not be forgotten family and friends. Sincerely Daryl Smith

My condolences to the Woodfine family my Husband first meet woody at RV 85 we were working for 22 field then during eme day we had found a micro set up and we started singing taking care of business. Then again in Aldershot where we had a company gathering up in Baxters Harbour were he had his guitar next thing we know Elvis showed up and Debbie still has the scarf that Elvis was wearing. Then once again we served together in Gagetown. You will be missed by so mant till we meet again on the otherside. Thank you for the good times my brother.Arte et Marte

Although I did not have the privilege of knowing Woody personally, through conversations with many of his fellow comrades, it is evident that he was a man of exceptional character and distinguished service. I never realized how many good interactions I have had with Woody until now. From campfires, garage parties, fine dining events, steering a fishing boat in the middle of night on the bay of Fundy, Fireworks and Pixie Dancing, most of all the laughter and endless stories of his life.
