It is with great sadness that the family of Kenneth Paul Boreland, 76, of Waasis, New Brunswick, announces his passing on September 22, 2022. Ken was born on July 11th, 1946, to Benson and Ruth (Hazlett) Boreland. In 1960, Ken met Evelyn, and they wed in 1966, going on to have 2 children, Troy and Shelley. Ken was an avid golfer, card player, an active member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, and spent many years on bowling leagues with his wife. Ken is survived by his wife Evelyn; his children Troy and Shelley; grandchildren Martina and Caleb; great grandchildren Hailey and Bryce; and his siblings Darlene, Ben, Doug, Steven, Tim, Cathy, and Terry as well as many nieces and nephews, with a special mention to Clayton, Jenny and their daughter Braelyn. In addition to his parents, Ken was predeceased by his siblings, Gary and Linda and his grandson, Sean. Another special mention to all hospital staff and in home care providers as well as a special thank you to Dr. Vailencourt. Arrangements have been entrusted to Oromocto Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 8, at 2pm, at Oromocto Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
