Obituary of Betty Colleen Noble

The family is sad to announce the passing of Betty Colleen (Dore) Noble on January 25, 2025, at Hospice House Fredericton. Born on April 8, 1933, Betty was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Clarice (Ingraham) Dore and beloved wife to
the late Donald Noble.

Betty met the love of her life at an ice cream shop on Queen Street and they were married on Oct 18, 1952.  She worked at NB Tel, but then after taking a bookkeeping course, she worked along side Donnie as they started Donald Noble & Sons General Contracting.

While they were living in Fredericton Betty enjoyed hosting and providing meals for borders from UNB. When she moved back to Rusagonis in 1976, Betty stayed involved with the church and community. She was active with the Women’s Missionary Society and was a proud Life Long Member of the NB Women’s Institute. She coordinated wreaths and participated annually in the Remembrance Day ceremonies. Through it all she loved to travel, whether it was a Sunday drive, or touring Europe, Alaska or other destinations. She especially enjoyed her bus trips where she would share jokes, stories or a sing song. She taught us to enjoy each day as it was given.

Betty will be missed by her children, Terry D. Noble (Lois), Dale Noble (Debbie), Timmy Noble (Cheryl), and Dawn-Marie Buck (Peter); by grandchildren, Terri-Lynn, Justin (Tegan), Nathan (Emily), Duane (Tina), Donnie, Jennifer, Adam (Jennifer), Spencer (Jenna), Harrison, and Hannah; great grandchildren, Madeline, Jackson, Charlie Ann, Jacob, Owen, Preston, Levi, Lillian, and Brya. She will also be
missed by her brother, Duane Dore, and sister, Donna Fossum (Earl). In addition to her husband and parents, Betty was predeceased by her brothers, Edison and Keith.

The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the Extra Mural program, Dr. Pawsey, and Hospice House for the kindness and care shown to Betty over this difficult time.

Final arrangements have been entrusted to Oromocto Funeral Home. Visitation will take place on Friday, January 31, 2025 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Rusagonis Baptist Church. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Rusagonis Baptist Church with Pastor Brent MacDonald presiding. A reception in the church will follow the service. In
lieu of flowers, donations in Betty’s memory to the Rusagonis Baptist Church or to Hospice House Fredericton would be appreciated by the family.
