Obituary of Frank Tulk
H. Frank Tulk passed peacefully at the Veteran’s Health Unit in Fredericton New Brunswick on March 6, 2025 at the age of 90. Born on September 17, 1934 in Deer Lake, Newfoundland, he was the son of the late Herbert and Jessie (Squires) Tulk.
Frank will be missed by his son, Robert Tulk; step-daughter, Paulette Fraser (Darryl); step-son, Ron Cronkhite; daughter in law Rosalind Dueck; grandchildren, Michael Fraelic, Penny Fraelic, Sean Fraser,
Daniel Cronkhite, Shannon Cronkhite-Toth, Trudi Bhakta, Clair Banerd, Mae Villatoro, Ryan Banerd, Sean Banerd, and Craig Banerd; sister, Olive Bryant of Deer Lake; his 4 legged family, Puss, Molly and Daisy, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Frank was predeceased by his loving wife of 48 years, Helen (Sleeper) Tulk.
The family would like to say thank you to the nurses and staff of the veterans health unit for their help and treatment of dad in his last days.
A visitation will take place on Friday, March 21, 2025 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Oromocto Funeral Home. The Royal Canadian Legion #93 will pay tribute to Frank at 3:45 pm, all are welcome.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 2:00 pm at the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Howlette officiating. For those who were unable to attend the service, a recording is available at the following link: https://vimeo.com/1068460604
Following the service, a reception will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion #93, 284 Restigouche Road, Oromocto.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Frank’s name to the Royal Canadian Legion #93 to support our veterans would be appreciated by the family.
