Obituary of Irene (Webb) Bryant

It is with great sadness that the family of Irene (Webb) Bryant announce the passing of our beloved aunt, at Orchard View Long Term Care , Gagetown, New Brunswick, on March 20^th, 2025. Born in New Jerusalem, New Brunswick, she was the last surviving member of her family and was the daughter of the late Charles and Alice (Colwell) Webb, and beloved wife to the late Patrick Bryant.

In 1953, Irene left New Jerusalem with her family to now live in Gagetown and when her job at the Capital Co-Operative limited was done, this allowed her to move back to Gagetown where she cared  for her dear mother for many years.

She will be missed by her nieces, Debbie de Monyé (Casey), Brenda Bordage (Mark), Donna Thomas (Brad); nephew, Charlie Ballard (Tammy); step-daughters, Betty Chevalier (Tony) and Pat Beaudet (Steve); step-grandson, David Chevalier, as well as several great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews all of whom she loved dearly.

In addition to her parents and husband, Irene was predeceased by her brothers, Charles Ballard and Earl Webb; sister, Geraldine Harrison ; step-grandson, Stephan Chevalier, as well as her sisters and brothers-in-law.

A special thanks to the staff of Orchard View Long Term Care who took such loving care of her over the past three years.

There will be no visitation or funeral at this time. A graveside service and committal will be held at the Upper Hampstead Cemetery at a later date.
