Obituary of Shirley Ann Gillis

The death of Shirley Ann (Sypher) Gillis occurred on April 11th, 2025 at the Pine Grove Nursing Home. Born March 28th, 1931, she was the daughter of the late George and Marion (Toner) Sypher and wife of the late Earle Gillis.

Shirley is survived by her children, John Gillis (Cecile) of Rocky Mountain House, AB and Joanne Greenough of Oromocto, NB; sister, Barbara Forbes as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A private family graveside service will be held in St. John’s Anglican Cemetery, Oromocto, NB, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Oromocto Public Hospital Foundation or charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
