MILLS FAMILY, I AM DEEPLY SORRY TO HAVE JUST LEARNED THE PASSING OF SHIRLEY "MRS. MILLS " AS MOST KNEW
HER. I BELIEVED THAT I JUST AT THEIR HOUSE IN LAST LATE SUMMER /EARLY FALL 2024 TO DO SOME PLUMBING REPAIRS. I ALWAYS ENJOYED GOING TO THEIR HOUSE TO DO SOME PLUMBING REPAIRS AND WOULD TALK FOR A BIT
WHEN I WAS DONE. ONE TIME I WAS THERE I LEARNED THAT THEIR SON (MILITARY) WORKED WITH MY BROTHER IN LAW WHEN THEY WERE POSTED IN TAMPA,FLORDA USA. Shirly is with Tiny
Shirley and her husband Tiny were such nice kind people
They both will both be missed

Howie and I send sincere condolences to Paul, Darrell and their families. I shared some good times with Shirley and learned a great deal about teaching young children. We worked hard at the many Easter and Christmas concerts and the graduation ceremonies. Shirley was dearly loved by the children and heard from them years after they had moved on to school. I was so sorry to have missed her funeral due to family commitments. God Bless you all at this difficult time so soon after losing your Dad.

Darryl, Paul and families: So sorry I can not be with you today, just getting over that cold virus going around and do not want to share it. Your Mom accompanied me many times on the organs in many churches in the Oromocto area at weddings, funerals and church services. Success was had indeed! I know she loved the idea that I, as a man, was instrumental in showing that men are needed to teach at the primary level in schools. My greatest memory was seeing the excitement of her kindergarten class welcoming Premier Brian Gallant to their room, during an election campaign. "Mr Forsythe is a very good friend of mine!" We did have a memorable chat after your Dad's service! She was a tower of strength I will never forget

Our family just dearly loved Mrs Mills. My youngest was the only one that got to experience the preschool but our family were all touched by her love for the children. My youngest had asked me over and over to invite Mrs Mills to her birthday party so we gave her an invitation and she actually came and all the children were overjoyed to see her, hug her and be around her. She will be surely missed and memories will be cherished.

Mrs Mills was a pleasure to know. Every time I came home to Oromocto I would go an visit with her and tiny. Just went to see them both at Christmas time when I was there. She always had a smile on her face no matter what was going on. We could talk for hours. I am truly sorry to all the family to hear about this loss. She will be truly missed.

I am so incredibly sad to hear of the passing of such a beautiful soul. Mrs. Mills nurtured, loved and cared for so many students and, if truth be told, their parents too! She has raised generations of children and, as a fellow educator, I know she had a passion for education and the children she taught. She provided the first education experience for my two boys and I will forever be grateful for her time, love and expertise in the part she played in raising my boys. I know personally nothing I can say can take away the ache in your hearts when you lose a parent, but hopefully knowing the incredible impact your mom made to so many will help help give you some comfort.

When she was no longer teaching children, she always visited with Tiny to pick out the perfect pumpkins. We will hold fond memories of Shirley. From our family at Fosters Farm.
