It is with great sadness that the family of Lillian Finlay (nee Jeddore) announces her passing on May 9, 2025 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, NB after a brief illness. Born on February 23, 1941 in Deer Lake, Newfoundland. She was the daughter of the late Stephen and Delilah Jeddore. She was predeceased by her husband, Gerald, her daughter, Patricia, and siblings Stephen Jeddore and Catherine Foote.

Family was very important to Lillian. She and Gerald lovingly raised a family of six children and instilled great family values filled with humor and love. She adored her nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Lillian enjoyed travelling across Canada to visit with her children and their families. She was delighted with her visit to the Shrine of Sainte Anne de Beaupre in Quebec, Lac Ste. Anne in Alberta and the Lady of Lourdes Grotto in Port aux Port, Newfoundland. She was an avid reader and loved historical novels as well as crossword puzzles.

Lillian will be greatly missed by sons: Gerry (Sharon) and their children Gerry, Samantha and Heather; Craig (Manda) and their son Michael; Peter (Carrie) and childen Shila and Kyle; Bob (Maureen) and children Kelsey and Jacob; Rhonda (Barry) and children Meagan and Ryan.
