Connie and I would like to send our condolences to the Ward family, Adam, Megan and Ryan, Mike, Brian and Joan. We will miss his friendship, his company, his quick wit and dry humour.
So sorry Adam, Meghan, Ryan and all the Ward family. Pat was a great Dad and a really nice man with a good heart. Always with a smile and a bit of teasing. I’ll miss him at the Ward family gatherings.
Patrick was a great guy I knew him from being friends with Adam, then Pat started doing some electrical stuff for me, and we even got him out on the golf course. Last time I remember hanging with Pat I went to his place for a barbecue and he cooked me a mean burger. I told him I was building something at the camp and then he asked me if I was getting a permit. I said no and he said "OH Really?!" he seemed upset. I continued eating in a bit of silence. Then he grinned. I should have known he was joking.
I have known Pat since the mid 80s when he worked for George Spillman. Always easy to have a conversation with. More recently I looked forward to sharing a mug with him as he was on his way home from the market on Saturdays. Going to miss him.
