Obituary of Frances Phillips

The death of Frances Phillips, age 81, of Swan Creek, New Brunswick occurred May 26th, 2025 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton, NB.  Born in Coytown, NB, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Clara (Merritt) Coy.

Frances is survived by her daughters, Marilyn Rathburn (Art), AnnMarie Cameron (Kim); son, Dwayne Phillips; 3 grandsons, 3 granddaughters, 4 great-grandsons and 4 great-granddaughters. She will be lovingly remembered by Kyla Phillips; sisters, Glenna Sloat (Glen), Mildred Sowers (Glenny), Kate Meade (Jimmy), Winnie Coy Patterson (Rick); brother, David Coy (Edith), sister-in-law, Audrey Coy, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Neil R. Phillips in 2008, and her brother, Douglas Coy.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 30th, from 2-4pm, at the Oromocto Funeral Home, Oromocto, NB.  Burial will take place at a later date. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Lion's Club or the Anglican Parish of Gagetown.
