My sympathy to Neil, Nelson & Noel. I had so many great memories of visits to Joyce & Niven's home on the beautiful Washademoak Lake. Joyce was a great teacher and was interested in all her students. And I enjoyed hearing her sing. I am glad you boys are carrying on the tradition of spending time at the "Lake". sorry I can not attend the Memorial Service.

Neil, Debbie and family, please accept my condolences on Joyce’s passing. What a legacy she and Niven leave in the family they created and the collective stories of times on the Narrows and beyond. I hope the “strawberry shortcake for dinner “tradition will carry on and bring an opportunity for memory sharing as you dine together on that sweet end of June delicacy.
