Obituary of Roger Rodney Pratt

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Roger Rodney Pratt of Burton, NB announce his passing at the Doctor Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton surrounded by family and friends on August 5, 2025. He was born on January 13, 1962 to Aubrey and Alma (McNutt) Pratt in Truro, NS.

Roger was a devoted husband , uncle , brother and friend . He married Jeanne (Patey) Pratt on December 22, 2001 and together they went on many adventures and forged memories and friendships to last a lifetime. While not blessed with children of thier own, they have 4 amazing Godchildren: Bre & Danika Buckler, and Nicko & Ethan Patey.

He is survived by his loving wife Jeanne; siblings, Eldora (Emery) Lynds, Louise (Bill) Buckler, Beverly (Gary) Whidden, Johnny (Karen) Pratt, Rodney (Barb) Pratt and Jeffrey (Donna) Pratt; father-in-law, Lounden Patey; brother-in-law, Lorne (Janet) Patey and a multitude of nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his parents, Aubrey Douglas Pratt and Alma Louise Pratt; his siblings, Sharon Macrae and Dale Pratt; and mother-in-law, Druscilla Patey.

A celebration of life is being planned for August 23rd in Burton, NB.
