Obituary of John Vincent Paul

It is with heavy hearts that the family of John Vincent Paul announces his passing on August 15th, 2025 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.  Born in Oromocto, he was the son of the late Willard and Cecilia (Denny) Paul. 

Surviving are his loving partner, Natasha “Tasha” Callahan; children, Brandon Paul (Michelle), Brittany Paul (Justin), John-Felix Paul, Meagan Antonucci (Jordan) and Sean Antonucci; sisters, Millie Paul, Sharon Paul and Patti Aucoin; grandchildren, Kittsyn, Dellwyn Hunter, Ewyn, Cassie, Sheila Grace, Sebastian and Sean Jr.; nieces and nephews, Jonathon Paul, Tasheena Sapiel, Chelsea Nicola-Cummings (Chuck), Darren Paul, Kalin (Morgan) Aucoin, Emily Sakundiak and Tammy Paul; great-nieces and nephews, Ashkii, River, Zia, Akoya, Victor Paul, Dylan Paul, Allison, Adeline Chabe, Aspen Bear, Conrad and Penelope Aucoin; as well as special friends, Barbie Paul, Dayle Martin and Mary Sark  

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Darrell Paul, Vernon Paul, and Robert Denny. 

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 19th, 2025 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Oromocto Funeral Home.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 20th, 2025 at 11:00 am at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Fr. Callistus Abazie celebrating.  Interment will take place in St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery following the service. A reception will follow at the Oromocto First Nation elders building.
