Obituary of Eveline Marie LeBlanc

The family of Eveline LeBlanc sadly announces that she passed away on August 26, 2025, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton, New Brunswick, after a brief but valiant battle with cancer. Eveline was born on March 8, 1938, to the late Placide Hebert and Henriette (Doucet), in Fontaine, NB.

Eveline will be sadly missed by her daughter, Emma (John); sons, Jean-Claude (Elizabeth), Paul-Emille (Sally), Michel (Samantha); grandchildren,  Aaron (Carol), Annie (Alfred), Logan (Emily), Leah, Matthew (Avery), Thomas (Amelia), Jazzmin, Terri (Derrick), Matthew (Jenny); great-grandchildren, Kaleigh, Evan, Samuel, Madison, Destani, Summer, Jaxson, Brooke, Alley, Dylan, Brenden, Lauron, Jacob, Savannah, Makayla, John (Madison), Sophie; great-great grandchild, Elliott; brother, Francois (Alexina); sisters, Aline (Gerald), Mina (late Medor), Ella (Oswald), as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Yvon, she was predeceased by her sons, Lauri and Antoine (Sylvya); brothers, Placide Jr. (Anita), Adelard (Laurentine), Prudent (Irene), John (Julia), and her sisters, Alexina (Roger), Lina (John).

The family would like to thank the staff at the DECH palliative care department for the wonderful care that Eveline received.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Saturday, August 30, 2025, beginning at 11:00 am, with Fr. Callistus Abazie as Celebrant. Eveline will be interred in the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Cemetery following the service. For those that wish, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.
