Obituary of Pamela June Bearresto

With enormous sadness we said goodbye to our mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Pamela June Bearresto (Turner). Mom gently passed away at the age of 88, on October 31st with grace and in no pain, surrounded by her loving family. We will always love and miss you, Mom - your calm and kind heart will be with us forever.

She is survived by her children, Karen (John), and Wanda (Kevin), grandchildren, Adam (Amanda), Katie (Scott), Ashley (Pat), Danielle, and Jan Vincent, and great grandchildren, Kaylen (Justin), Keegan, Chase, Graham, Dominic, and Victor. Pam leaves behind a loving extended family, including her sister, Jackie (Allan), as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Emma and Bert Turner, Pam was predeceased by her brothers, Malcolm Turner (Evelyn), and Douglas Turner, sisters, Joyce Todd (Ron), Joan Fanjoy (Garnet), and Jean Maxan (Jim), as well as her former spouse, Leonard Bearresto.

Mom cherished her friendships, developing them at each stage of her life, with most of these lasting the remainder of her life. She retired from Mill Cove Nursing Home after over 25 years as a nursing assistant, and continued to volunteer for a few years.

Mom was an active community member volunteering at various community events and was a member of the Anglican Church Women’s group, Jemseg Women’s Institute, and the Jemseg Community Garden.

The family wishes to acknowledge the care given to mom by Orchard View Nursing Home, and the staff at DECH ER and 4SE, especially to John, Dawn, Sky and Kaylee, Zack, Sheila and Justine, your care and compassion were truly appreciated.

Visitation will be held at Oromocto Funeral Home, 108 Winnebago St. Oromocto, NB, on Thursday, November 6th, 2025, from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
