Obituary of Edward George Garthfield Carr

It is with profound sadness that the family of Edward George Garthfield Carr announces his passing on November 1st, 2025. Born January 11th, 1936, as the youngest child to the late Spurden Garthfield Carr and Hilda Helen Carr (Howe).

Edward was a true outdoors man with a passion for hunting, trapping and fishing. He continued the tradition of farming on his families multi-generational homestead. 

Edward will be deeply missed by his niece, Janice Ouellette (Daniel); nephews, Douglas Johnston (Denise), Floyd Harris (Melanie), Reginald Harris (Hope); along with many great nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his sisters and their spouses, Stella Harris (Reginald), Edna Johnston (Eldon), and Velma Reid (Bernard). 

Edward will be laid to rest in the Spurden Carr cemetery in Geary on November 29th, 2025 at 11:00am, with a graveside service.
