Obituary of David "Travis" Sheppard

It is with great sadness that the family of David “Travis” Sheppard announces his passing in Pemberton BC, on November 12, 2025.     Born in Comox, B.C., he was the son of David and Judith (Kinden) Sheppard. 

Besides his parents Travis leaves behind his sister, Lisa (Paul) Rehel and nephew, Owen. 

Travis was a quiet and reserved person who had a kind heart, a nod and a smile for everyone.  He was thoughtful and intuitive, and he always knew the perfect present for someone.  He had an amazing skill for crafts, metal work and model buildings, he made amazing intricate costumes for fan expos.  He created beautiful models and pieces of art using metal, wood and 3d printing from his own designs.    He loved animals, especially dogs and horses. 

A private service will take place.  For those who wish, donations in Travis memory may be made to a Canadian Mental Health Association.
