I meet Edie when living in New Maryland around 1967-68. We became friends quickly and hung out lots. I remember Lela and Doreen. I watched the eulogy delivered by daughter Lori and she nailed it. Lots of memories came back to me while watching it. Edie was everything and more than was mentioned. I moved with my family to B.C. in April 1969.I can't quite remember what year I visited and looked up as many of my old friends as I could find, Edie being one of them. Doreen I have looked on Facebook trying to find you unsuccessfully since I couldn't get in contact with Edie for quite awhile and then Jamie contacted me and let me know of her health issues. But no luck finding you Doreen. If you would like to talk about Edie, etc my email address is nhorton12@hotmail.com. I would love to hear from you. My condolences to the entire family. To Lori and all of your family, Lori, we met you a couple of years ago at Shannex while you were home visiting from the NWT. We want to let you know how sorry we were to hear of Edith's passing. Debbie, Doreen, Ann and families: I'm so sorry to hear of Edies passing. I remember her way back when the New Maryland kids attended Charlotte Street School. Losing a sibling and Aunt is sooooo difficult...so many memories to share which I hope bring you some joy. Hugs to all, Paulette
