To: The Family of Joseph (Joe) Evans,
On behalf to The Black Watch Association, Atlantic Branch, please accept our deepest and most sincere condolences on the passing of your loved one, Joe. I did not personally know Joe but I am quite sure with him being a Black Watch band member that I marched to his drum beat on any number of occasions. Another member of our quickly depleting ranks has gone to his just rewards. Please keep our organization apprised of any assistance we may be able to provide. My email address is as follows:
ppjarvis99@gmail.com or phone (902)678-7391. Again, we send our most sincere condolences to all members of Joe's family.
STAND EASY, Old Soldier and, may you Rest In Peace

It is with great sadness I offer you both and your family condolences on the loss of your father and grandfather.

My Deepest Sympathy goes out to David and family in the passing of his Dad. Joe & Dot were neighbors of mine when they lived on Nason Crescent. He was a real gentleman. I also worked with him when he was with the Military Museum at CFB Gagetown back between 1974-1989. His paperwork was meticulously completed when he presented it to NPF Dept at stocktaking time each month. May he rest In peace.

It was truly an honor to meet Mr. Evans. He had such warmth and kindness about him. His son Terry was truly overjoyed to have spent so much time with his father during the last several months, and seeing Joe recognize him and smile the entire time was the most beautiful thing to witness. Joe will be missed dearly by family and friends, and the staff who lovingly cared for him in his final years.
