Obituary of Jeannette Geralda Hudon

With sadness in our hearts, we announce the passing of our mom, Jeannette Geralda (Senechal)  Hudon on February 11, 2026 in Oromocto NB. She was born on July 12, 1927 in Grand Falls, NB. She was the daughter of the late Emile and Philomene (Roberge) Senechal and loving wife of the late Maurice Hudon.

Jeannette was a wonderful mom, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to many. She was a long-time resident of Oromocto, where she was a former business owner, member of the CWL of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, and the Women’s Institute. She enjoyed many hobbies: sewing, quilting, all hand work, artwork, and gardening. Mom had a strong belief in her faith and family and a commitment to both.

Jeannette is survived by her son, Jacques; daughters, Louise ( Roy Stevens), Gisele (late Tim Gilbert), and Rachel (Kenneth Foster); eight grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; her brother, Jean-Eudes Senechal; and sister, Lucille Beaulieu.

In addition to her husband and parents, Jeannette was predeceased by her son, Roger Hudon (Brenda).

The family would like to thank Bayshore Home Care Services, and Maple Ridge by Enhanced Living for all their kindness and dedicated care.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at 11:00 AM with Father Callistus Abazi as celebrant. Interment will take place at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
