Obituary of Frederic Allen Williams
Frederic Allen Williams was called to his eternal home on March 31, 2026. He was born in Hamtown Corner to Edmund Lee and Annie Mae Williams on October 11, 1935.
He and his “Tweetie”, Valerie Marie Williams (Grasse) shared 68 years of marriage and were blessed with a daughter, Lois Noble (Terry) and a son, Richard Williams (Joyce). Also missing him are his six grandchildren, Terri-Lynn, Justin (Tegan) and Nathan Noble (Emily), Russel (Lauren) and Ben Williams, and Eliza Purdue (Mike); 10 great grandchildren, Owen, Preston, Levi, Lillian and Brya Noble, Madison, Calvin, Marilyn, Rebecca and Duncan Williams. He will be fondly remembered by nieces and nephews including his special nephew, Harvey Carr, who was very close to him.
As a long- time resident of Oromocto, delivering milk with horses, Bill and Pal, at age 15, he enjoyed his life of farming before giving up his cows at age 85. He maintained his interest by helping his grandsons with their farming adventures in subsequent years.
In 1962, he began his 17 years of service on the Oromocto Fire Department before leaving to hire out with his own gravel truck, all the while farming and taking on various leadership and volunteering roles in several organizations and his community.
He loved to entertain whether playing his guitar or violin, singing or reciting his beloved poems.
Faith, family and farming were key pillars of his life. His legacy is a lifetime gift of kindness, generosity, and that spark of teasing and mischievous love.
A celebration of life will be held at the Geary Lions Community Center on Saturday, April 25, 2026. A short service will begin at 1 pm followed by a time of fellowship until 3 pm.
For memorial donations, the family suggest Green Hill Lake Camp, Sandy Cove Bible Camp, Village of Hope, Hospice House or a charity of the donor’s choice.
