Obituary of Karen Louise Fife

The family of Karen Louise Fife sadly announces she passed away on April 1, 2026, peacefully at home with family in Oromocto. 

Born in Springhill, Nova Scotia on December 23, 1941, Karen was the daughter of the late Muriel and Angus MacDonald.  

Surviving are her two sisters, Marie and Gail; brother, Jack; sons, Angus Fife (Joan) of Parrsboro, NS; daughter, Karen McGee (Dan) of Oromocto; daughter-in-law, Darlene Fife; grandchildren, Shona, Colleen, Jake, Kenda, Ryan, Michelle, and Phil, and great-grandchildren, Ryland, Grace, Zack, Jacob, Paddy, Joel, Emrick, Madison, Maeve, Rachael, Emily, and Sophia. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, LeRoy Fife and son, John Fife.

Karen had an exuberant love for all her family and will be sadly missed by all that know her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, beginning at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
