Obituary of Lawrence "Larry" Paul Panchuk
Lawrence (Larry) Paul Panchuk, born November 22, 1946 passed away on April 11, 2026. He was predeceased by his father, Constantine; his mother, Margaret; and his son, Casey. Larry will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Deborah Panchuk (née Dunsmore); his daughter, Gail Geilen (Thomas); and his cherished grandson, Logan. As the eldest of four siblings, he is also survived by his brothers, Peter (Joan) and Daniel, and his sister, Christine. Larry will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.
Larry dedicated over 40 years of his career to Lasco Steel in Whitby, Ontario. He had a deep love for the outdoors and found joy in the simple pleasures of life—whether working on the hobby farm, walking the dog, chopping firewood, or relaxing in the sunshine on the patio.
In 2010, Larry and Deborah relocated from Ontario to New Brunswick, where they continued to build a life filled with family and quiet happiness. He was one of his grandson’s biggest supporters, always present and enthusiastic at every sport and activity.
An avid sports fan, Larry especially enjoyed cheering for the Dallas Cowboys and the Chicago Blackhawks. Even during his time in the hospital, he looked forward to hearing the daily scores from his wife.
Larry will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
