Obituary of David Bruce Pippy

It is with deep sadness that the family of David Bruce Pippy announce the passing on May 21, 2026 at home.  Born on June 10, 1954 in Halifax, NS he was a son of the late Robert and Beverly (Burgess) Pippy. 

David retired from the Department of National Defense after 30 years of dedicated service. Outside of work, his true passions were nature and gardening. While David kept his circle of family and friends small, he was fiercely protective of those he loved. It was deeply important to him to teach his family, share his knowledge, and guide them through life. Known fondly as 'Mr. Fix It,' David would truly do anything he could to help those he cared about.

 

Surviving are his loving wife, Donna, whom he was so loyal for nearly 50 years; children, Selina Cleveland (Jason); Luci Pippy (Rodney Lyons) and Shawn Pippy (Sarah Meier); grandchildren, Lilly Cleveland, Kent Meier, Cameron Meier Pippy and Eva Meier Pippy; sisters, Glenda (Doogie), Susan (Roland Masters) Janet Hillier (Wad) and Lisa Johnson (Joe).   Besides his parents he was predeceased by his grandson, Keaton.
