Obituary of Norma Donalda MaGee

On July 22, 2026, God has chosen to take Norma Donalda (Stairs) MaGee home. Born on May 28, 1931 in Woodstock, New Brunswick, she was the last remaining child of the late Burns and Gertrude (Clowes) Stairs, and the devoted wife of the late Gerald MaGee.

Norma will be missed by her children, Betty Norwood, Daniel MaGee (Norma), Jeffrey MaGee (Paula), and Andrew MaGee (Vicky); grandchildren, Jonathan, Jennifer, Laura, Matthew, Joshua, Nicole, Tyler, and Hailey; great grandchildren, Ryan, Ashton, Wyatt, Paige, Avery, Jace, Dolan, Dawson, Nathan, and Andy; great-great grandchildren, Paisley, Peyton, and Brooks, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends, especially those she made in her years at Enhanced Living.

In addition to her parents and husband, Norma was predeceased by her son-in-law, Robert Norwood, and her siblings, Ivan, Murray, Edgar, Gerald, Pearle, Luella, and Rowena.

Sincere appreciation and thanks go to the staff at Enhanced Living Oromocto for all your kindness and care for Mom. It was truly appreciated.

A visitation will take place at Oromocto Funeral Home on Monday, July 27, 2026 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. A celebration of Norma’s life will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at 11:00 am with Pastor John Carroll as clergy. Following a reception, the interment will be at the Central Hampstead Cemetery, Central Hampstead, New Brunswick.

Norma requested donations in her name be made to the Central Hampstead Cemetery Fund, Lung NB, or to a charity of your choosing.
