Obituary of Kenneth John Leo Lumsden

Kenneth John Leo Lumsden, 76, of Waasis, New Brunswick, passed away on July 29, 2026, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton, NB. Born on September 3, 1949 in Dieppe, NB, he was the son of Warren Gerald and Mary Ramona (Savoie) Lumsden.

He will be missed by his wife, Anna (Campbell) Lumsden; daughters, Virginia Anne Kauenhofen (Frank), and Catherine Ann Victor (Sheldon); grandchildren, Roland (Meagan), Sheldon (Joe), Brock, and Bryanna; great-grandchild, Owen; brother, Daniel, and sisters, Mary (Paul), Sue, Linda, and Judy.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sister, Debbie (Ken Morrison); brothers, Jimmy and David, and brothers-in-law, Jim (Sue) and Wayne (Linda).

In keeping with Kenneth’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Oromocto, NB, on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, beginning at 11:00 am, with Fr. Callistus Abazie as celebrant. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.
