Obituary of Annette Margaret Fowler

It is with heavy hearts, and deep sorrow that the family announce the passing of beloved Annette Margaret (St Jean) Fowler in Fredericton, New Brunswick, on August 23, 2022. Born in Sudbury, on July 31, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Jean-Paul and Aline (Coursol) St Jean, and loving wife of 55-years to the late Thomas Henry Fowler. Annette spent her life in Sudbury, Ontario, where she raised her family and was very fond of her beautiful property on the Wahnapitae River. She was well known as a caretaker, which she did effortlessly and wholeheartedly. She also enjoyed gardening, picking blueberries and loved any kind of music. Annette was often heard singing and humming and loved attending church, especially for the music. Annette loved travelling with her dear husband, Thomas. They spent every Sunday exploring in their truck. She had a great love for life and family, which meant the world to her, and she was extremely proud to announce her devotion of love for them. Annette was a very strong person and took on each problem with grace and care. She fought a long battle with cancer, and now she has joined her husband and baby boy, who she missed dearly. Annette will be greatly missed by her children Janice (Mike), Diane (Jim), Kerri (Shaune), Nancy (Ken) and Shannon (Rene); grandchildren Darrell, Derek (Vicky), Jimmy, Kayla (Tyler), Shane (Carley), Mercedes (Douglas), Shance, Eric and Steven (Morgan); great-grandchildren Hayeven, Kaylee, Tye, Emma, Lucas, Dawson, Blake, Beau, Lexi, Grayson, and Ares; sister Pauline, as well as brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She will also be missed by special friend Jaxson, and god children Rachel, Darrell and Shane. In addition to her parents and husband, Annette was predeceased by her son Clayton Thomas; sisters Margaret Marier, Rosie St Jean, and brother Robert St Jean. The family would like to thank the paramedics, nurses, physicians and staff at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital for their excellent care and support during her short visit to New Brunswick. There will be no visitation or funeral service at this time. A private, family celebration will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donation to your local food bank would be appreciated by the family.
