Obituary of Miriam Mersereau Adams (Macdonald) Love

On the 20th of September, 2022, Miriam Love passed away at the Oromocto Public Hospital at the age of 91. Miriam was born in Welsford, New Brunswick, on the 4th of October 1930. Her parents were John and Mabel Macdonald, also from Welsford. After graduating from high school she moved to Fredericton and found work at the radio station CFNB. It was here she met her husband, Glen Love, who predeceased her in 1980. She leaves behind three children, Kevin (Lynn) in Fredericton, Glenn in Toronto and Susan (Mike) in Halifax a well as her grandson, Glen, in Fredericton, and many nieces and nephews. Her grandson Bryan predeceased her in 2014. Miriam was an avid curler in earlier years. She was a successful small business woman, running a Vanda/Beauty Counsellor franchise for many years. She eventually moved to Geary to care for her father. After he died she moved to Geary/French Lake full time and sold the home in Fredericton. She was independent and lived on her own right up ‘til the end. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held from the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at 2:30 pm with the Ven. John Sharpe officiating. The family kindly requests that masks be worn at the service.
