Obituary of Melda Lillian Clattenburg

It is with sadness that the family of Melda Clattenburg announce her passing at Oromocto Public Hospital on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at the age of 92. Born in River Bourgeois, NS, on September 9, 1930, she was the wife of the late Donald George Clattenburg. Melda leaves behind her daughters, Carina and Carla as well as her grandchildren, Calvin, Colin and Carson. In addition to her husband, Donald, Melda was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Alvina (Woodrow) Landry; brothers, Leo, Cletus, and Gervase; sisters, Ethel, Agnes, Laura, Theresa and Charlotte; sister-in-law, Jane. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 2:00 pm with Fr. Charles Udeh as celebrant. Interment will take place in the adjoining cemetery. For those who wish, donations in Melda’s memory may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Building Fund or the Cancer Society.
