Obituary of Robert Daryl Carr

It is with profound sadness that the family of Robert “Robbie” Daryl Carr announce his passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on October 31, 2022 after a brief illness.  He was 50 years old.

Robbie was born on January 3, 1972 at the Oromocto Public Hospital.

He leaves to mourn his wife and soulmate of 20+ years, Cindy "Lou"; his parents Percy and Melda Carr; his siblings: Kelly (Dorothy); Terry (Linda); Shawn; Natasha Theriault (Jeff); mother-in-law Dorothy Ferris; sister-in-law Patricia Howe; special niece Alanna Howe; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, and his fur baby Muffy (Kitter).

Robbie was an avid outdoors man who loved to fish, hunt and trail ride on his ATV.  He spent a lot of happy hours with his best friend and bother, Terry, riding the trails and enjoying the outdoors.  They had many adventures together.

Robbie spent several years working as a Commissionaire and the last few years as Custodian at the Oromocto High School.

The family would like to express their gratitude to all of the doctors, nurses and paramedics who diligently cared for Robbie over the past weeks.  Their kindness and compassion will always be remembered.

A visitation will take place on Friday, November 4, 2022 from 12 noon until 1:30 pm at the United Pentecostal Church in Geary, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 pm.  The service will be live-streamed for those who are unable to attend. (www.facebook.com/GearyUPC).  A private interment will take place at a later date. For those who wish, donations in Robbie’s memory can be made to Ducks Unlimited or the United Pentecostal Church in Geary.
