Obituary of Megan Lee-Anne Michele McGovern

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Megan Lee-Anne Michele (Swire) McGovern on November 30, 2022. Born on January 16^th, 1992, in Orilla, ON.

Loved dearly and will be greatly missed by her husband, Sean McGovern; children, Ava-Lynn and Connor; parents, George Swire and Carrie-Anne Pethick; father and mother-in-law, Paul and Marta McGovern; brother, Michael Swire (Emily); sister-in-law, Rebecca McGovern-Hope (Ian Hope); nephews, Jordyn and Tyson; maternal grandparents, Mike and Sandra Pethick; paternal grandmother, Sharon Squire (Larry), as well as many extended family members, God children and friends.

Megan is reunited with their daughter, Emily, and paternal grandfathers, Burt Swire, and Rick Webb.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 8^th, 2022, at St. Mary’s Chapel from 10:30 am – 11:00 am. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 11 am at St. Mary’s Chapel, with Padre Shawn Daley as celebrant.
