In addition to his wife, Ellen, he was predeceased by his parents, Dorothy (Dobson) and William “Edward” Gilker; siblings, Mike, Diane (Lorne) and Pat; father-in-law, Ned Black.

Bryan loved to tinker with anything electric. He began his career in Atholville as a Quality Control Supervisor at Radio Engineering Products. He went on to enjoy many years of retirement in the community of Boiestown with his wife Ellen. A special thank you to the wonderful staff at Orchardview LTC Home, as well as the nurses at 3SW.
