I remember George when I was a new member of 8CH in Gagetown. He and his wife lived next door to us, a newly married couple. He was a wonderful and friendly neighbour.

So sorry Theresa and family. I just saw this now. "Georgie" and I certainly had some long good conversations over the years. I cried when Ann called me and told me of George's death. I am sorry we didn't get to see each other this past summer.
I will always remember staying at Aunt Doris and Uncle Ralph's place on Friday nights, when the school had a dance. We would stay overnight and Mom & Dad would pick us up Saturday morning. We all had some wonderful breakfast's together.

Michelle, Albert, Ethan & Kayleigh, and Family, So sorry for the passing of your Dad & grandfather. I met George a few times in the past while doing plumbing repairs at his house. George was a very fine Gentleman easygoing, and have a story to tell of back in the day when he grew up. Life can be a little funny in ways, back then I did plumbing repairs for George and for his Daughter Michelle, and his grandson Ethan works with me @ the plumbing business and his granddaughter is friends with my Daughter.
Thoughts & Prayers,

Theresa and Family.
So sorry to hear about your husband George and your Father and Grampy. It was just two years ago on the 19th that we lost Rollie. I know what you are going through. It is hard at anytime of year but seems especially hard around Christmas. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Your George especially loved Christmas and that I'm sure even makes it more difficult. My love to you all!

Oh my heart…my sincerest condolences to you, Theresa, Michelle & Christina & families. This is so hard to believe as George has always been bigger than life. He made our memories brighter and laughter, in those memories, louder. My thoughts are with all of you at this most difficult time in your lives. May all of your sweet memories bring you peace. Even though the last few years there has been a distance between us, we have always counted you and George as some of our best friends. Hugs and prayers from us.

I have so many wonderful memories of George! He was like a second father to me when I was growing up. So many wonderful times at the lake! He always treated us like family. He will be missed. My deepest condolences to the family.

The earliest memory I have of George was when he & Theresa visited my little brother William in the hospital. It was the early 70s - they may not even have been married yet. I loved his sense of humour - which he never lost, as far as I can tell. He loved his family very much - another endearing quality. He will be sorely missed and my heart goes out to Theresa, Michelle, Christina and his beloved grandchildren.

My condolences to Theresa and family. I agree George was so proud to be a veteran and was like a little boy talking about Christmas.
