To the Family, I used to visit Chesley regularly in Thomas Hall, take him to Bingo, read the Bible to him and pray with him, mostly on Tuesday afternoons. He was an inspiration to me as my son who is 56 years old has had Parkinson’s for 17 years. He gave me hope in how he dealt with his illness. Always a smile and a great sense of humour. When his wife was living, he would have them bring her to Bingo with us even though she didn’t realize where he was, he did! He gave me one of his paintings- a chickadee…..Covid entered the world and visitations quit and I lost touch with him. Your Dad was a wonderful man and will be missed in Thomas Hall. May God grant you peace and comfort during this difficult time.
Blessings,, Colleen McHatten
