Stephen, Amanda, Kelly, Brad, Jeannette, George, Marilyn, Tim, "IZZIE" - and ALL members of your Family .
Words cannot fully express the shock and sadness we all feel with the sudden passing of our friend Susan, who I met when we worked for the R.C.M.P. at Div. H.Q. on Regent Street - she and I both worked out of offices on the first floor .and at one point our paths crossed almost daily. How well I remember the day I went out in the main lobby and there was our son's FHS homeroom teacher , Sholly Doherty ( a gentleman so greatly respected by both students and parents alike) sitting there , so I asked him what had brought him here - and he very proudly told me - "I'm here to see my daughter, Susan Stairs " - a connection I was unaware of but I soon picked up on their close family ties through his frequent visits to our building. to meet up with and spend time with Sue.
We also have great memories of life at Davidson Lake - over the years our parents,/aunts/uncles,/cousins ,have had cottages there and also my brother and his wife built their home there . We will not forget Sue, but will remember her for her kind, caring, friendly ways, her love for her family/ her friends/ for IZZIE - life was cut short far too young for her.
- Sending heartfelt condolences to all of you - Most sincerely sent - Shirley (Saunders) Munn

To Steven, Amanda, Kelly, Brad, Jeannette, Marilyn and Tim and to all of your extended families.
I want to extend my sincere condolences to all of you. Sue and I worked together for many, many years at RCMP HQ’s. She was a hard worker, smart as a whip and a lot of fun to work with. We took a few road trips together and always had some good laughs, many heart to heart talks and made many great memories. She was like a Mama Bear when it came to her kids. Sue did whatever she could to make a good life for her family. She always spoke very highly of her parents and her siblings and was so proud of them all. With all of this love she had for her family, she still reserved a spot in her heart for many good friends that she met along life’s journey. In recent years, I never spoke on the phone with Sue that she didn’t reminisce the good old days and always ended our conversation with ‘ I love you’. I consider myself a very fortunate person to have a friendship that lasted close to 40 years and now our memories become mine alone to cherish. She will be missed. Rest in peace, Sue. Karen Miller
