Obituary of Jack Christian Baldwin

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Jack Christian Baldwin on April 5th, 2023, at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Jack made the world a better place since 2001, and was the loving son of Christa (Antle) and Geoff Baldwin.

Jack was full of joy, spirit, and unwavering zest for life. He loved spending quality time with family and friends, music, fitness training, watching UFC and the Blue Jays games, had a soft spot for animals, and felt the benefits of nature and meditation. He was so funny and amplified that to add as much laughter to the world as possible. Jack always enjoyed travel and had intentions of experiencing various parts of the world. He especially loved Jamacia, Mexico, Newfoundland, and the best was Toronto. His home opening Blue Jays game seat will be empty on Tuesday as well as his moms next to him.

He will be immensely missed by his parents, Christa and Geoff Baldwin; siblings, Sarah Baldwin (Jordan Gardiner), and Josh Baldwin (Alex Boudreau); maternal grandparents, Elihu and Gloria Antle; paternal grandparents, Bert and Linda Baldwin; his beloved pet Ziggy, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends. “We recognize that we were gifted in having you in our world for 22 years, we will honour you through spreading kindness and ensuring belly laughs happen after we attempt to lessen this overwhelming pain.”

We wish to thank the paramedics that never gave up and tried everything they could for Jack. Also, thank you to the Dr. that cared for Jack briefly, your compassion with our family will not be forgotten.

By request, there will be no visitation. A celebration of Jack’s life will be held at a later date. A person of his stature needs special planning.

For those who wish, donations in Jack’s memory may be made for his love of animals to a local SPCA or to celebrate his volunteer hours over the years to the Canadian Mental Health Association of NB.

So it’s true, when all is said and done, grief is the price we pay for true pure love. We will pay that price to have experienced the wonder of you our beautiful baby boy. Rest now.
