I remember Camilla as a sweet, kind lady who befriended me as a young new mother. I moved away from Oromocto in 1980, but still remember how much I enjoyed chatting with her.

To the MacDougall family Sorry to hear of Camilla’s passing. I remember her as such an active mom with the Oromocto Legion Track Club when we were kids. My first job as a young nurse was at the Oromocto Hospital and she was such a wonderful role model for me to look up to. Always pleasant and kind. Sincere condolences to you all. She was lovely!!

Dear Jim, Diane, Sandra, and Joanne,
We were so sorry to learn of Camilla's passing and know that she will be welcomed into heaven as a very special person. She was certainly a big influence in my life, providing support in so many of my endeavors. Not only was she the mother of two very good athletes who brought recognition to the Oromocto Track and Field Club, and to a third daughter who always helped out at the meets, but she herself was a mainstay of the club and of Athletics New Brunswick and the Oromocto and Area Wall of Fame for many, many years. In addition, she was a member of the local and Canada Games Recording Team for several years (Camilla, Gail, and Sylvia), come rain, hail or snow - and occasionally sun! Your family has played a large role in my life. Our condolences to all.

She had all the qualities of an excellent nurse in her professionalism, competence, caring and compassion. She related well to the patients, their families and others on the hospital team. My condolences to Jim and her family. Peter Fraser

Dear Larry, Diane, Sandra and Joanne. You're all in our thoughts at this difficult time. I was one of the lucky nephews who got to have Camilla's home cooking from time to time while I was at UNB. I always looked forward to sitting around the dining table and chatting for hours with my cousins and Camilla after we stuffed ourselves. She made us all feel welcome and miss home a little less. She was an intelligent, kind, and generous woman. She will be greatly missed. RIP, Aunt Camilla.
