Obituary of Kendall Andrew

It is with great sadness that the family of Kendall Andrew announces his passing at Hospice House in Fredericton on Saturday, June 24, 2023. Kendall was born in Fredericton, NB, on April 3, 1960, to the late Zeta and Kenneth Andrew.

Kenny lived in Calgary, AB, for the last 41 years but moved home to be with his family for the past 8 months. He worked in several maintenance positions throughout his career but worked as a maintenance man for Cadillac Fairview Ltd. at the Market Mall for the last 21 years.

Kenny was a kind and gentle man who always had a positive outlook and never complained. He touched the hearts of everyone who knew him. Kenny enjoyed hockey, was a huge fan of the Calgary Flames, and was lucky enough to be able to attend many of their games in person. He loved camping, fishing, and travelling, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.

Kenny is survived by his sister, Debbie Besaw (Norman), nephews, Dustin (Sianne) and Matthew, and great-nieces, Alyse and Adalyn.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the nurses and doctors at Hospice House for all their kindness, caring and compassion while Kenny was in their care.

Visitation will be held at Oromocto Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 28, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. A memorial service will be held from the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 2 pm with Rev. Bob Jones officiating. For those who wish, donations in Kendall’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
