Obituary of Mildred Irene LeBlanc

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mildred Irene (Beach) LeBlanc on July 29, 2023, at the age of 96. Born in Kentville, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Frances (Margeson) Beach.

Mildred attended school in Kentville and worked at the Canada Foods Ltd. until her marriage in 1945. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family meant everything to her.

With her husband Francis being in the military, the family moved to Fredericton in 1955, where he was stationed. They moved to Oromocto in 1959 and were there until 1971 when they were posted to Washington, D.C. for three years. They returned to Oromocto in 1974 and she worked at the K-Mart, Fredericton Airport Restaurant, and the Oromocto Bowling Alley snack bar.

She liked to sew and cook and enjoyed playing Bingo.

Besides her husband of 78 years, she is survived by three sons, Terry (Linda) of London, ON, Reg (Cathy) of Haley Station, ON, Bob (Karen) of Almonte, ON; three daughters, Doris Wilson of Oromocto, NB, Anne-Marie Dickey (Carl) of Lincoln, NB, Sherry LeBlanc of Trenton, ON; six grandchildren, Robert LeBlanc, Kimberley Moffitt, Michael Dickey, Jason LeBlanc, Tyler and Cindy Ryan; 9 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mildred is predeceased by her siblings.

A funeral service will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home in Oromocto, NB, on Saturday, August 5, 2023, beginning at 2pm.
