Obituary of Wayne Lyall Tibbetts

It is with sadness that the family of Wayne Tibbetts announces his passing at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at the age of 75. Born in Truro, NS, on March 23, 1948, he was the husband of Sandi Tibbetts of Oromocto.  

In addition to his wife, Sandi, Wayne leaves behind his sons, Scott and Michael Bell; daughters, Kim Stinson (Craig) of Edmonton, AB, and Michelle McCoy (Jeff); 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; sister, Daphne Nickerson (Ed); his sister-in-law, Donna Court (Andy); his uncle and numerous cousins. Wayne was predeceased by his parents, Roy and Clara Tibbetts, and by his brothers Gerald and Gary Tibbetts. 

There will be no services at this time. For anyone wishing to make a donation in Wayne’s memory donations to the MS Society, The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #93 Poppy Fund, the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
