Obituary of Scott Grasse

Scott Lester Grasse, of Waasis, NB, passed away on Monday, November 20th, 2023. Born in Fredericton, NB, he is a son of Earle and Linda (Hanson) Grasse. He was 55 years of age.

He will be lovingly and forever missed by his wife of 32 years, Tracey (White); parents, Earle and Linda (Hanson) Grasse; children, MacKenzie Grasse (Kenzie Janes) and Haley Grasse (Ryan McGuigan); sister, Luann Grasse (Ron Pellerin); mother-in-law, Beverly White; step-mother-in-law, Jane White; brother-in-law, Kirk White (Amanda); sister-in-law, Barbi Denyer-Litalien (Mike); and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Stephen Grasse (Belinda); father-in-law, Winston White, and brothers-in-law, Brent (Tessa Walsh) and Brad White.

Scott worked as a Lineman with NB Power for 23 years. He was very proud of his work. During his free time, Scott loved being on the water in his boat. He was an avid fisherman, and loved chasing after Muskie and Sripers, especially with his kids. Those who knew Scott, knew he was happiest on the water.

Other hobbies include spending time at the lake, watching NASCAR, UFC, and reminiscing on his snowmobile racing days. Scott also enjoyed Sunday afternoon dart games with his family. He remained adamant that no truck was faster/better than his Nissan Titan.

Scott will be greatly missed and forever in the hearts of those who had the good fortune to know and love him.

A celebration of Scott’s life will take place at the Hazen Centre, 1103 Onondaga St. Oromocto, NB, Sunday November 26th, 2023, at 1:00pm. A private family interment will take place at the Waasis Cemetery. Online condolences are gratefully accepted at www.oromoctofh.com.
