Obituary of Mary Lou Carr

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Mary Lou Carr at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital surrounded by family on December 24, 2023.  Born on August 1, 1952, originally of Geary, NB, she was the daughter of the late William S. Carr and Pauline M. Carr (LeGassie).

Mary Lou will be missed by her partner of 23 years, Allen Lingenfelter; children, Eric Foss; Kevin Foss (Sabrina); Tanya Milton (Jeff); grandchildren, Kiersten, Bailey, Kaitlyn, Hannah, Ariel; brother, William T. Carr; brother-in-law, Stan Howe (Dianne); niece, Andrea Hawe; nephew, Troy Howe; and many cousins and friends. 

In Addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Gloria Anne Howe; niece, Carrie Howe; sister-in-law, Debbie Carr. 

Mary Lou grew up in Geary, NB.  She lived in various provinces throughout her life but moved back to her roots in 2014.  She enjoyed baking and cooking for her family and the frequent get togethers with her cousins who were like sisters to her. 

A Celebration of life will take place at The Geary Lions Club, 712 Broad Road, Geary, NB will take place on Friday, December 29, 2023 from 5-7 p.m.
