Obituary of Susan Ann Millett-Martin

The family of Susan Ann Millett-Martin, 54, of Oromocto, New Brunswick, sadly announces her sudden passing on January 9, 2024 surrounded by her family.

Susan was born on February 26, 1969, to Stanley and Loretta (Ross) Millett, in Fredericton, NB. She was raised as a base brat of which she was proud. We were able to see most of the country together while moving around.

In 1989, Susan met Michael Martin, and they wed in 1996 in Oromocto, NB.

She graduated high school and then later received her Child and Youth Care Worker certificate. Most of Susan's employment career was with young children. She was wonderful at it and the kids loved her. It was definitely what she was meant to do.

Susan enjoyed spending time with family, knitting and watching her tv shows and Netflix. She absolutely loved animals and will be missed by her babies, her two dogs Bert and Ernie.

In addition to her husband, Susan is lovingly remembered by her daughters Victoria Martin, 26, and Kathleen Martin, 22. Also by her dad Stanley Millett, her sister Lisa Millett (Jeff Smith) and her niece Alexis (Alley-Poosey). She was predeceased by her mom Loretta Millett and her grandparents.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Oromocto Funeral Home. A visitation will take place on Sunday, January 14, 2024, from 11 am-1 pm. A funeral service will be held the following day on Monday, January 15, 2024, beginning at 2 pm in the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel with interment at a later date. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Oromocto SPCA or a charity of the donor’s choice.
