Obituary of Paul Glen Fleiger

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Paul Glen Fleiger of Lincoln, NB at the age of 54, on January 12th 2024, surround by his family at home. Born in July 11th, 1969 in Fredericton, a son of the late Arnold and Patricia (Durelle) Fleiger.

Paul was a hard working man at Air Canada for nearly 25 years, along with raising a beautiful family with his wife.

Paul loved life and his family with all his heart. He was always making people laugh, even if it was at their own expense.

In his spare time, he enjoyed referring and coaching hockey, watching wrestling, and was a dedicated boxing fan. Paul loved spending time at their seasonal camp in Escuminac Beach. Nothing gave Paul more peace than hearing the ocean.

Paul married the love of his life, Patricia, on July 27th, 1996 and their life time of adventure, laughter, and unending love began. Their life became whole when they had their 3 girls and nothing made Paul more proud. He loved his children and his grandchildren more than anything in the world.

Survived by his wife and best friend, Patricia, his daughters Victoria, Brittany (Ricky), and Megan, his grandchildren Katrina, Karter, Kashlee, Kaiser, Dakota, Daxton, and Deacon, his brother, Michael, his sister, Rachel, his nieces and nephews, his parents-in-law, Debbie and John Stevens, his brother-in-law, Chris Stevens, and his sister-in-law, Tanya Paige.

As well as his parents, he is predeceased by his big brother, Gary.

The family wants to send out our gratitude to the following healthcare professionals; Dr. Robert Prosser (Oromocto), Dr. Moore, Shelly of Extra Mural, and all staff and doctors at the Dialysis Unit at St. John Regional Hospital for their compassion and care.

The family would like to thank two of his closest friends, Kevin Duffy and Kevin Sands, for their continued support during Paul’s lengthy illness.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Oromocto Funeral Home.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 11:00 am at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church
