Obituary of Phyllis Janie Neill

It is with sad hearts that the family of Phyllis Janie Neill announces her passing at her home in Burton, NB, on January 16^th, 2024 at the age of 91. Born in Lanesville, Colchester Co., NS, she was the daughter of the late Stella (Rogers) and Wilbert Miller.

Mom and Dad were married for 50 years before he passed away in 2006. Mom was dearly loved by her children, Nancy (Roger) of Whites Cove, NB, Peggy Neill of Fairview, AB, George Neill (Laurie) of Fredericton, NB, and Stella Maillet (Richard) of Burton, NB; a proud “Nanny” to her 9 grandchildren, Laura (Bartly), Jason (Tina), Greg (Jeannine), Matthew (Krystle), Michael, Jamie, Jennifer (Jordan), Wyatt (Ashton), and Waylon (Brieanna); the best “Great-Nanny” to Keith, Noah, Carter, Lucas, Emily, Kyla, Willow, Jack, Julian, and Kaysen, as well as step-grandchildren, Ethan, Shaylee, and Bently. She is also survived by her two sisters, Matilda Henry of Stewiacke, NS, and Myrtle Pemberton (Ralph Donaldson) of Lantz, NS; brother-in-law, Tim Millen of Etobicoke, ON; sister-in-law Joyce Miller of Stewiacke, NS, as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, and husband, Charles William “Billy” Neill, she was predeceased by an infant granddaughter, Krista May Hyatt; son, David Neill; sister, Grace Millen, and brother, Henry Miller.

By request, there will be no visitation or service at this time. Interment will be held later in Stewiacke, NS.
