I was saddened to hear of Hal's passing. Hal gave of his time to our Cambridge-Narrows Community School students by teaching them carpentry skills and helping them construct the picnic structure at The Pines. He was always willing to lend a hand when needed and he will be missed. Thinking of you all and know that you are in our hearts and prayers.

Joanne and family, so ,so sorry for your loss.I was just thinking of you guys. We really miss you guys. Hal was a great neighbour. He saved my butt several times during the winter months. We had an understanding about the driveway from HELL. I will always be grateful that it was your family I bought my first and forever home. .He will be missed by all of us in Lower Cambridge. I worked with Hal, at station #8. He was our officer. Hal was fun and pleasant to work with. He had a great sense of humor and was a real hands on firefighter. So much so that even as the officer he would be working as hard or harder than anyone else. R.I.P., Trapper
