Obituary of Francis "Frank" Thomas

It is with sadness that the family of Frank Thomas announce his passing at home on Friday, February 16, 2024. Frank was born in Verdun, Quebec, on October 19, 1938.

Frank was predeceased by his parents, Joyce and Gordon Thomas; son, Michael Thomas, and son-in-law, Hugh Mallery. He is survived by his wife Nadine “Deana” Thomas; son, Frank Thomas (Kathy) of Alberta; daughters, Ann Holmwood (Scott) and Shelley Mallery (Sean O’Neill) both of New Brunswick; grandchildren, Carrie Mallery-McLaughlin (Brendon) and Robert Mallery (Sam) of New Brunswick and Alyssa, Stefan, and Jordan Thomas of Alberta; great-grandchildren, Faith, Constance, Akeyla, Gabrielle, Hazen, Isaiha, Acacia, Jocelynn, Hugh, Heiden, and Jeremiah.

Frank proudly served in the Canadian Armed Forces from 1959 to 1979 with The Black Watch regiment and then with the steward trade.

A private graveside service will be held at a later time. For those who wish donations in Frank’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Oromocto Food Bank.
