Obituary of Joan Marks
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Joan Marks announces her passing on Monday, April 8th, 2024 at the age of 82. Born in Blackville, NB, on June 11th, 1941, she was the wife of the late James LaBaron Marks.
Joan leaves behind her children, Jamie Marks (Yvette Goguen) and Stacey Marks-Davidson (Michael); grandchildren, Andree-Anne, Victoria and Julian Marks, Colby, Brody and Riley Davidson; great granddaughter, Aurora Harvey. In addition to her husband, James, Joan was predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Greta (Murray) Etheridge and by her sister, Phyllis Etheridge.
Joan worked for various medical doctors as a secretary during her career. Joan loved to decorate and changed her decor in her home often. Joan loved plants and always had plants in her home.
There will be no visitation, a private family interment will be held at a later date. For those who wish, donations in Joan’s memory may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
The family would like to extend thanks to Dr. Snell her family Physician, Kindred Home Care, and Hospice House for all the care they provided.
