Obituary of Vikki Lynn Hunziker-McLean

Passed away peacefully at home while holding the hand of her loving husband, Shawn McLean.

Vikki was the daughter of the late Georgina and Walter Hunziker, of Minto, NB. She is survived by her two brothers, Danny (Beverly) and Eric (Doris), and sister, Elaine (Barry).

Vikki will be deeply missed by her two daughters, Dominique (Andrew) and Dana (Alex), and children through marriage, Jessica (Brandon), Geordie (Ashley), and Darcy (Monica). She was also Nanny V to five grandchildren through marriage, Jasper, Kaylee, Sheamus, Lochlan and Kingsley, whom she spoiled and loved very much.

Vikki was a compassionate soul who loved to love, always doting on her family and feeding the wildlife wherever she went. She was nurturing in nature and took joy in the outdoors, creating beautiful landscapes and gardens. A creative spirit and avid DIY-er, she enjoyed many different types of crafts and hobbies, and was always working on a project. She loved to travel, and valued living in the moment and experiencing life to its fullest.

Upon her request, no formal funeral or service will be held. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Hazen Park Centre in Oromocto, on Wednesday April 17th, 2024 from 1:00pm - 3:00pm.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Oromocto SPCA, as Vikki was a lover of animals, and blessed many four-legged family members with lavish lives throughout her own.
