Marilyn and family, I will be thinking of you in the days ahead. Howard was a very sweet soul. A real gentleman. Greg and I always enjoyed talking with Howard. I especially enjoyed seeing him feed his chickadees out of his hand. And I really don't know anyone who enjoyed cherry pie more than Howard... when I used to bake for the Jemseg market he was happy when I brought cherry pie made with our own Montmorency cherries. May he rest in peace. And may you all enjoy your wonderful memories of your dear one.

Sending love to your family. I remember an amazing afternoon with Howard, Marilyn and Michelle - learning how to invite the chickadees and nuthatches to visit our hands, looking through tips they had written up for drying and cooking with herbs, and picking fragrant basil together for pesto making with Michelle. It was a beautiful day with a wonderful family. Love Sue

Words can’t begin to describe the man my grampy was. He was such a beautiful human who lived such a beautiful life. He was a kind, respectful and gentle loving soul who loved the outdoors and all living things. He took pride in the things that mattered. I will follow in his footsteps with our shared love of gardening and plants. I will always be kind to everyone and everything that I cross paths with, just like he did. Rest peacefully my wonderful grandfather. Thank you for always having such a positive impact on my life. Our memories together will never leave my heart. You will always be missed, and never forgotten. ❤️
